About me
Hey there, I’m Lucy!
I’m the one-woman show behind The Petite Pantry in Mildura, creating homemade buttercream cakes, cupcakes, and cookies for your special moments. No shortcuts here, just top-tier ingredients like couverture chocolate, farm-fresh eggs from SRS Benetook, Sunraysia’s finest produce, and premium Belgian cocoa. That means no pre-mixes, only pure, delicious goodness. You might have also spotted my mini café-style cakes and toasted muesli in a few local cafés.

My love for baking began in my family’s farm kitchen, home to The Woolshed Pantry in Wentworth, fuelled by afternoons spent with Mum’s collection of Women’s Weekly cookbooks.
After a career in tourism, I studied patisserie in 2014, but when it came to custom cakes, I taught myself—one late night, one wobbly layer, and one buttercream fail at a time. Cake decorating became my creative escape, and nothing makes me happier than when customers give me free rein to bring their vision to life.

The kitchen became my calm and my comeback. Baking was my safe space while navigating mental health challenges and personal loss. Now, I’m excited for what’s next for The Petite Pantry… a space for edible art, connection, and joy (with a little mess thrown in for good measure).
